Text 2 Jun 1 note Day 14- Your favorite quote from any movie

My father is a noble man, but his rule is failing, and our people lose faith. He looks to me to make things right and I would do it. I would see the glory of Gondor restored. Have you ever seen it, Aragorn? The White Tower of Ecthelion, glimmering like a spike of pearl and silver, its banners caught high in the morning breeze. Have you ever been called home by the clear ringing of silver trumpets -Boromir, “The Fellowship of the Ring”

I’ve been thinking about this for a while actually. I’ve been wondering what I’m going to use for this one, and I chose this quote for two reasons: The first being that Boromir is my FAVORITE thing EVER from anywhere, and the second being that this quote is very bittersweet. Boromir is a noble man who only wants to see the restoration of his City and his people. That’s what he lives and fights for. But you can’t help but be sad at the same time… because that’s what he dies for, and he never gets to see what he fought for.

Text 1 Jun Day 13- A Movie that you used to love, but now hate

The most obvious one is Repo! The Genetic Opera. For reasons, I have refused to watch that movie, and continue to refuse to watch it. I think I even deleted it from my hard drive. But anyways, the one I chose to talk about is Transformers. I remember being so excited for this to come out in 2007, because I had recently gotten into G1, thanks to my best friend. I had watched G1 as a child, but that was when I was so little that I barely remember it. All I can remember is Ironhide, Bumblebee, and liking Soundwave. I liked this movie well enough when it came out, and for a while after. I even got excited for the second one to come out, and had a blast at Botcon 2008. They showed up sneak peeks of the second movie, and Michael Bay even came out and talked to us about it. I decided that I wasn’t very happy with these movies after I saw the second one. Interest was diminished RAPIDLY when Transformers: Animated came out, and I finally stopped being interested altogether when I saw how utterly retarded and unbelievable Transformers fans had become (The one that stands out the most being MrsBonitaPrime…Look it up on ED if you don’t know what I’m talking about.). For a while I considered changing my name on Deviantart to get them off of my page. I mean… I had some friends that were so chill about it, and not annoying about it at all, but some of the fans frightened me. And not just with the stuff they were doing around me or talking to me about. I had friends that had some major issues with some of them.

Anyways, Bayformers has deviated SO far from what Transformers was even originally about that I really just don’t bother anymore. In fact, I think I’m going to sell my DVD copy of it.

I eat Lucky Charms not because I enjoy them, but because I enjoy watching other people sit there and try as hard as they can not to be racist about it.

Text 31 May Day 12- Your favorite Animated movie

Since I already used The Lion King for one of these and I don’t want to be boring and repeat movies, I’ll use my second favorite animated movie, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. This one is yet another movie we watched a lot when I was little (I rarely ever had anything else to do but watch Disney movies and play Nazis outside- yeah, we used to draw German flags on pieces of paper and pretend to be like… Cowboys and Nazis. I blame Indiana Jones…) and one of the ones I remember most. We got this one when I was like… uh. Eleven or so. Anyways, it’s a very deep movie, for Disney, and even though it doesn’t totally follow the book, it’s still very sad an dynamic. I’ve always loved the soundtrack, especially.
